Who we are

Our website address is: https://acumore.co.uk

Acumore and Meditank Ltd are committed your privacy. We never sell, rent or trade you information with other businesses. We’ve kept this policy as simple and easy to understand as possible. If you have any questions or problems regarding the use of your Personal Data please contact us and we will be happy to help.

By using this site or/and our services, you consent to the Processing of your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Mailing List

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

If you register for our email newsletter, we collect personal information such as your name and email. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to keep you updated; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied.

Of course, you can use our site anonymously.

Contact forms

If you submit a contact form any information you submit will be kept on our server and will be used to contact you as requested. Like all of your data you can request to have this deleted or changed at any time.

Cookies

We use cookies to enable you to have a better experience with our website, content and services. We use those cookies to avoid showing you the same thing twice, for example.

We will not rent or sell or share your email with any third party, and we never have. However, we use third party analytics software from Google, LinkedIn and Facebook. In some cases, we may place a cookie on your side to enable us to better understand who is visiting our sites and how they use them.

We don’t serve ads to our site visitors using any third-party tools. When we run ads on Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn or Google, we may use audience data to serve you and people like you ads based on your visits to our sites. Facebook’s Data Policy provides much more information on how your Facebook data is used on their platform. For more information on how Google collects and processes your data, visit Google’s Privacy Policy.

Because we’re in the business of helping you, it’s difficult to engage with us without hearing from us. You can, and always have been able to, use third party tools, RSS or even incognito browsers to interact with our free materials.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

What rights you have over your data

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation, a new privacy law that regulates the processing of personal data relating to individuals in the European Union.

GDPR strengthens the rights that individuals have regarding their personal data, and seeks to unify data protection laws across Europe.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, or submitted a contact form you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Request that we stop sending you direct marketing messages. This is as easy as it has ever been. Unsubscribe/stop following, and we’ll stop. Our goal is simply to keep our promise, not to profit from your data.

We use MailChimp for our email messages, and we’ll work with them in removing your name (and there’s an unsubscribe button in every email).

Thanks for trusting us,
Neil
